In the field of Defense the use of IoT in Military and Defense Applications, in order to overcome various challenges of warfare and battlefields, the Internet of Military Things (IoMT) is an IoT class for modern combat operations and Intelligent warfare, by creating a miniature ecosystem of smart technology capable of filtering sensory information and automatically independently managing multiple tasks at once, IoMT is conceptually designed to ease the physical and mental burden that soldiers face in field combat, The goal of IoMT is to solve the challenges of modern warfare.
The application of Machine Learning (ML) and AI is very useful for efficiently processing large amounts of data retrieved from a collection of devices and sensors from the battlefield to obtain valuable and important information. This information helps officers make important decisions in a timely manner and plan further strategic actions, while AI can assist in sorting and aggregating information from different data sets, as well as obtaining and aggregating information sets from multiple sources. This advanced analysis allows military personnel to then recognize patterns and obtain correlations for battlefield dominance.
